Marco Berni reaches Unalakleet
Marco Berni has reached Unalakleet with his traveling companion Beat Jegerlehner on March 17th at 5 AM in Alaska (3 PM in Italy). The two runners have only a few hours delay with Tim Hewitt, who is currently first in “runners” category.
Marco and Beat keep on walking in a huge neverending landscape, fascinated by this rare and spectacular panorama.
They have already crossed the Yukon River, so, from now on, the trail should be easier.
Meanwhile, the first who reached Nome was the biker Bob Ostrom, who arrived there on March 17th at 6 AM (4 PM in Italy). Ostrom run 1800 km in 20 days and 16 hours.
