Marco Berni reach the third check point, Winterlake
Yesterday’s late afternoon(early morning in Alaska), Marco Berni reached Winterlake, 64 km after Skwentna, for a total of 210 km in 3 days.
Thanks to the weather condition and the solid trail, some bikers has already completed the short race, breaking some records. The winner is the american Jay Petervary, who rid 560 km in 2 days and 19 hours.
After some hours of rest, Marco start walking towards Puntilla. This time there will be “only” 56 km of run to reach the next check point and, right after it, the famous Rainy Pass.
